The contract is a 6 month position for the duration of the sftp conversion project.  The project is to convert all file transfers to a secure transfer mechanism.  Most of this work is to convert FTP to SFTP. I was retained by Pheaa in this position for a period of 22 months.

 

Using IBM’s Connect Enterprise on AIX and Z/OS platforms to configure secure file transfers between PHEAA and external business partners and other internal data systems.

 

Provide daily resolutions to failed transactions on the Z/OS platform.  This includes mainframe jobs managing the mailbox contents within Connect Enterprise and the ftp/sftp transmission of files.

 

Troubleshoot file transfer and content errors across multiple platforms.

 

Configure pgp or secret agent encryption/decryption for transmitted files to outside business partners and within data systems at Pheaa.
